I used this moisturizer a couple of nights because it's too heavy for the mornings.. I stopped using it because I got the sense it broke me out, so I cant say much about the effectiveness of it.. I have dehydrated oily acne prone skin.. it does leave a very silky feeling on the skin which I liked. Now I am using it as a neck cream instead. I wouldn't be repurchasing again.

This cream is rather thick and stringy, but more like gel than greasy. It smells a little, though I can't say like what, but not unpleasant at all. On my combination, sensitive skin it doesn't sink in and leaves a film, that's why I would recommend it for dry skin types. Didn't cause any breakouts or problems, though it might burn a little if your skin is sore.
I guess it helps elasticity as promised, but just doesn't feel good sitting there on my face like a mask, even if I only put a little on it. (I use acid/retinol a few times a week, so it should be able to penetrate I'd think.) On my hands it sinks in better though. But I seem to have that problem with quite a few creams.

I was very excited to try the new formula of the Black Snail Restore Cream. It is hard to say if I like it better than the old one or worse. I like that it became a little lighter and is suitable for everydayuse by still providing with moisture and the typical "snail feeling". However there's a new ingredient inside, I assume it's one or few of the the new herb mix (probably rosemary), that feels a little itchy on my skin and it seems even a little exfoliating to me. So still not suitable for an everyday use but for others reasons than before (when it used to be a little too heavy). After all it is a very good and special cream that I would recommend to have in your skincare collection :)
